Stepping Back Into Life, Inc.
SBIL.org was originally established to communicate the health and progress of Steven Loignon of Shapleigh, Maine during his stay in the hospital after a serious car accident. As a result of this tragic accident, Steven is now a bi-lateral amputee who has proven to everyone around him that life does go on after such a serious change in his life. Today, he is making the most of his life, and has become an inspiration to us all. He refers to the accident as "a bump in the road" and his positive attitude has provoked him to turn this web site into help for others going through the process of rehabilitation.

Now, recently disabled people can now gain from his experiences as he continues to pave the way and make a difference.

Stepping Back Into Life, Inc. was officially formed in the spring of 2003. As part of his venture to provide this support and encouragement to anyone who is physically disabled through the use of this website: Loignon.org.
Through the use of this website, and other organizational efforts, Stepping Back Into Life, Inc. is becoming a valuable resource for the recently disabled. Our mission is to help you find the inspiration and the knowledge you need to "Step Back Into Life" proudly and with more enthusiasm than ever!

"Dear Steven,
Horrible to hear about your accident, but I'm enormously impressed
with your fortitude and attitude. Many would roll over and let the rest of
life float by. You sound exceptional, and I look forward to working with
you. Also, in this industry (homebrewing), a hollow leg can come in very handy!"
